The space created by Mayice Studio for FENIX® takes its inspiration from old European cabinets of curiosities, reinterpreting them with a contemporary perspective. Inside the Gabinetto delle curiosità , visitors will find drawers containing personal objects, prototypes, influences, and references from the world of design, all connected to the trajectory and imagination of architects Imanol Calderón and Marta Alonso.
Beyond its aesthetic value, the installation reclaims the physical over the digital, inviting us to touch, discover, and feel. Every corner is designed to spark curiosity, from the custom-designed lighting to the most intimate details that tell a story of creativity, culture, and design.
The ensemble conveys an intimate view of the creative process, in which the golden ratio, light, and texture are integrated into a locally crafted, artisanal space. An environment that invites you to explore beyond the obvious.
Materials, colors and synergies that shape emotion
The richness of the space is expressed through a balanced fusion of colors, materials, and textures. With FENIX® wall coverings, HOMAPAL® metallic laminates , and FORMICA® HPL , the project presents practical interior design solutions, masterfully applied to ceilings, furniture, drawers, and decorative elements.
FENIX®'s advanced materials, such as Rosso Namib , Nero Ingo , and Azzurro Naxos, combine with vibrant tones like Verde Kitami and Giallo Evora , creating captivating and sophisticated contrasts. HOMAPAL® adds metallic reflections that enhance the light in a space, while FORMICA® offers versatile finishes like Reclaimed Denim Fiber and Frosted Jade for interiors and furniture.
This balance between technical innovation and aesthetic sensitivity turns the space into a tangible demonstration of how materials can excite, connect, and transform an idea into an unforgettable experience.
