Neolith, a world leader in sintered stone surfaces, returns to Casa Decor with “Passage to the Soul’s Interior ,” an installation created in collaboration with the architecture and interior design studio davidedavid. Inspired by contemporary Japanese architecture, the installation transcends the boundaries of functional design to offer a sensory experience that invites introspection. Through light, reflections, and materiality, the space becomes an architectural sanctuary where perception and the senses are heightened.

A proposal that fuses emotion and matter

Neolith's installation for Casa Decor 2025 proposes a reinterpretation of the home, blurring the lines between the physical and the emotional. The use of the arch as a symbol of transition, along with the combination of materials, lighting effects, and reflections, creates a design that challenges the perception of space and suggests a journey toward the essential.

The San Simone , Niagara , Whitehaven and Cappadocia Sunset models were used to configure the installation.

In this way, Neolith becomes the link between timelessness and contemporary design, providing balance, beauty, and functionality . Each surface has been selected to enhance the interaction between light and material, creating a space that flows with the energy of its surroundings.

According to Andreas Manero , Marketing Director of Neolith: “Casa Decor is undoubtedly the leading showcase for interior design in Spain, and for Neolith, it grows in importance every year on our annual calendar. This year we are returning with a new, highly ambitious proposal.”

Davidedavid: the firm behind the proposal

The architecture studio davidedavid , founded by Davide Ridenti and David Pérez Fernández , has spent over a decade exploring the intersection of architecture, design, and art. With an approach that balances classic and contemporary styles, their work is distinguished by its attention to detail and the use of materials that evoke sensations and emotions in the user.

His proposal for Neolith at Casa Decor 2025 reflects his philosophy: an architectural language that combines tradition and innovation, where each element contributes to the narrative of the space. In this project, the synergy between Neolith and davidedavid results in an installation that redefines the relationship between architecture and the senses.

“We envisioned this space as a refuge for meditation and introspection within the home. Places like this, still relatively uncommon in our houses, will become an essential need in the future ,” comments Davide Ridenti . David Pérez Fernández adds, “Our inspiration stems, on the one hand, from the metaphysical architecture in the work of De Chirico and, on the other, from Roman ruins reclaimed by nature.”

Neolith, an icon in architecture and interior design

Neolith continues to evolve its creative approach at Casa Decor , maintaining its commitment to increasingly disruptive projects . If last year's edition surprised everyone with a space that earned it First Mention for Best Project , this year it takes it a step further with "Passage to the Interior of the Soul . "

An installation that not only engages with contemporary architecture, but also redefines how materials can transform the perception of space and the emotions of those who inhabit it.

The Neolith installation at Casa Decor 2025 will be open to the public from tomorrow, April 3rd , until Sunday, May 18th , in the Sagasta building , located in the Chamberí district of Madrid ( Calle Sagasta, 33 ). This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an architectural concept that invites you to feel, explore, and discover a new way of inhabiting spaces.
