A new sensibility for contemporary cuisine
Developed in collaboration with the BorromeodeSilva studio, Musa is more than just a collection of integrated appliances. Its design defines a unique language where technical elements take on an architectural dimension within the project.
This new sensibility incorporates key elements of contemporary interior design, such as soft volumes, visual balance, and the prominence of light. Appliances are no longer hidden away but intentionally integrated, adding presence without disrupting the overall harmony.
Formally, the collection is built upon the dialogue between geometry and curve, along with the contrast between matte and glossy surfaces. This interplay of finishes introduces depth and dynamism, generating an aesthetic that moves between minimalism and a more defined expression.
Aesthetic coherence and integrated technology
The Musa range includes ovens, induction hobs, extractor hoods, and integrated coffee machines, forming a complete system. The consistency between the pieces allows for a unified approach to kitchen design, where each element contributes to visual continuity.
On a functional level, it incorporates solutions such as steam cooking and multi-zone systems. The technology is integrated discreetly, enhancing a seamless user experience without interfering with the overall aesthetic of the space.
This combination of design and functionality allows for great compositional freedom. The collection adapts to different contexts without losing its identity, enabling the creation of coherent and balanced spaces.

Far from representing a break with tradition, Musa expands Smeg's design language, continuing the legacy of collections like Clásica. The brand thus reinforces its ability to develop solutions that understand the kitchen as an integrated whole.
Meanwhile, designs like Isola, developed with Stefano Boeri Interiors, position the cooking area as the visual focal point. The appliance takes center stage within the interior architecture, reinforcing its role in the spatial composition.
The vision is completed with a reflection on matter and sensory experience, visible in innovations such as the matte finish in Portofino, the Moonlight color in FAB refrigerators, and the evolution of Dolce Stil Novo and the Porsche x Smeg collection. These offerings consolidate an approach where design, materiality, and engineering coexist coherently.
