The Tikal collection, designed by architect Nicola De Pellegrini for Talenti, evolves through new materials, finishes, and colors while maintaining the architectural identity that has defined the project since its inception. Inspired by the spiritual monumentality of Mesoamerican sacred sites, and especially the ancient Mayan city of Tikal, the collection translates to the outdoors a language of essential geometries, vertical lines, and modular compositions conceived to integrate seamlessly into contemporary outdoor architecture.

An outdoor project inspired by Mesoamerican architecture

Tikal was born as a collection of outdoor kitchens characterized by an architectural approach that gives outdoor spaces their own identityThe reference to the Mayan city of Tikal translates into compositions of essential lines and vertical volumes that define a sober and recognizable aesthetic.

The collection is made with zinc-magnesium metal structures, stainless steel and aluminum, materials treated with special coatings for outdoor use that are resistant to high temperatures and atmospheric agents. The combination of these technical materials guarantees strength and durability for outdoor use.

The material character of the collection is reinforced by large-format porcelain stoneware countertops with a cement effect. The surfaces contribute to creating a refined and timeless aesthetic.Maintaining a balance between design, functionality and Made in Italy quality.

Different interpretations within the same formal language

Tikal is available in different finishes and interpretations that maintain the same modular logic and the same formal language. The classic version expresses the original concept of the project through a rigorous and architectural composition, focused on the purity of lines and the proportion of volumes.

Among the evolutions of the collection is Tikal Wood, a version that incorporates hinged doors in Accoya wood in a natural teak tone. The presence of wood adds warmth and material richness to the composition, maintaining intact the essential geometry that characterizes the collection.

The contrast between the metal structure and the natural surface of the wood creates a visual balance between nature and architecture. This interpretation reinforces the contemporary character of the collectiondesigned for outdoor spaces where materials take center stage.

Tikal White and the modular evolution of the collection

The latest evolution of the collection is Tikal White, a version finished with a special white coating that enhances the architectural purity of the project. The white finish amplifies the feeling of light and promotes integration with the exterior environment., engaging with the greenery, water, and surrounding materials.

As Nicola De Pellegrini explains, white introduces a symbolic and emotional dimension linked to concepts such as purity, spirituality and calm. These values are directly related to the ancient cultures that inspired the original design of Tikal, reinforcing the conceptual link of the collection.

The modular system includes shelving, base modules, tall cabinets, vertical columns and corner compositions that allow for the configuration of different outdoor solutions. The collection can be completed with barbecues with ovens and equipped drawers.consolidating the outdoor kitchen as a space designed for coexistence and shared use.
