At the 2026 Salone del Mobile in Milan, Binova presents a series of designs that explore new ways of understanding the kitchen within the domestic space, proposing an evolution where it ceases to be an isolated element and becomes integrated into a broader vision of the home. The re-edition of iconic collections, reinterpreted in a contemporary style with curved sides and the integration of Zen-inspired display cabinets, introduces a new formal approach where volumes are softened and compositions gain coherence, consolidating a proposal based on continuity, materiality, and the relationship between different environments.
New materials and technology: The evolution of the Binova system
The designs are enhanced by a renewed selection of materials, including high-value composite woods, sustainable solutions, and acrylic laminates with a glass effect, renowned for their quality. This evolution is complemented by new technological solutions linked to the Kitchen Architecture vol. 3 concept, where design and functionality advance together.
In addition, there are unprecedented finishes on tall cabinets and display cases, whose surfaces incorporate fine lines obtained through an acid etching process. This treatment creates a visual effect reminiscent of raindrops sliding down glass, adding a more sensory dimension and reinforcing the role of material experimentation in the project.
Bluna: A kitchen with curved lines open to the living room
The Bluna project, featuring Stone + Lab Gres handles, creates a kitchen where curved shapes and visual continuity define the space. The central island, crafted from Ebano Makassar composite wood, becomes the focal point , providing a solid presence that blends aesthetics and functionality.
The curved ends of the central block soften the composition and reinforce its sculptural character, while the integration of materials such as Breccia Imperiale Texture stoneware lends coherence to the whole. This design reduces the technical prominence of the kitchen in favor of a more fluid and welcoming feel to the domestic space.
Balance: A modern boho reinterpretation of the kitchen
With the Balance model, Binova offers a modern boho reinterpretation, where the balance between materials, light, and texture defines the atmosphere. The combination of fronts and countertop in an Ivory tone creates a chromatic continuity that provides visual calm and reinforces the unity of the whole.
The integration of elements such as the wooden table and the presence of vegetation on the island introduces a more intimate and livable dimension. The result is a space that combines design and everyday use within a warm aesthetic connected to nature.
Bluna and Zen: A stage composition with new materials
The Bluna + Zen project introduces a new interpretation of space by integrating Zen display cases into low modules. The alternation of open and closed volumes, along with integrated lighting, creates a dynamic composition with a strong theatrical character.
The proposal is completed with innovative materials and technical solutions that improve the product's durability and sustainability. All of this results in a kitchen where design and technology combine within a balanced and expressive composition.
