Soft colors and warm contrasts define the kitchen
The LISBOA kitchen project is a collaboration between Pedro Baños , CEO of Cocinas Río, and interior designer Sandra de Benito . Together they have created a space that transforms the kitchen into one of the most special places in the home.
This space is characterized by an open and bright design , with a layout conceived to facilitate interactions and daily activities. A light color palette predominates, while warm touches create a balanced contrast , adding dynamism and harmony.
The style features Scandinavian influences , both in the color selection and in the fusion of minimalism and modernity , which contributes to the sophistication characteristic of the Nordic style.
Functional distribution with central island and social area
The kitchen layout in this project is designed to offer functionality and style in every corner. The central island, finished in natural oak , acts as the heart of the kitchen, providing ample space for food preparation. Both the countertop and sinks are made of Lapitec , a 100% natural and recyclable material, resistant to temperatures up to 1500º.
Adjacent to the island is a round table with a fluted wooden base and red chairs that add a vibrant splash of color to the space. This area is designed for family meals and social gatherings , creating a welcoming and functional environment for sharing special moments. The table becomes a focal point that complements the island's functionality, making the space both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
The kitchen also features spacious, fingerprint- resistant, matte-lacquered cabinets and cupboards with integrated handles , providing efficient and organized storage. Miele appliances , renowned for their high quality and performance, and Hansgrohe faucets ensure a modern and sophisticated design throughout the space.
Design that facilitates movement and efficiency
The project's fundamental principles are functionality and ergonomics , key elements that guide every decision in the kitchen design. The layout of the elements, the design of the surfaces, and the storage spaces have been carefully considered to maximize comfort and accessibility . Every detail, from the placement of appliances to the organization of workspaces, aims to facilitate daily tasks without compromising aesthetics.
