The defining feature of WAKUU is its stylized 10 mm frame , which reinforces the formal clarity of each design. This architectural detail transforms the front into an aesthetic resource capable of seamlessly integrating into minimalist projects or kitchens with greater visual contrast. The collection is offered in two versions: as a classic wood front and as WAKUU-FS in lacquered finishes from the LEICHT palette.
Both variations share the same formal concept but allow for different planning approaches. Thanks to their variability in height and width , the fronts can be adapted to diverse configurations, providing visual continuity and creative freedom to kitchen projects.
Woods with character and signature lacquers
The wood version is distinguished by its continuous furnishing , which ensures a uniform grain throughout the entire kitchen. Among the available options are the light Nordeiche , the warm Structur Abruzzen , and the sophisticated Bergamo Ulme , with dark undertones that add depth to the design.
WAKUU-FS , for its part, offers a wide range of colors. In addition to 18 standard LEICHT colors, it also offers the possibility of working with the entire RAL spectrum and the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® collection . Furthermore, the HYGGE color concept adds six shades inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics, reinforcing harmony and balance in the space.
The 590 handle: Aesthetic and functional detail
For this program, LEICHT developed the 590 handle , specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the WAKUU aesthetic. Measuring 20 cm wide and only 10 mm high, it aligns with the geometry of the fronts, providing discretion and continuity. Its ergonomic groove ensures comfortable handling without disrupting the overall visual purity.
Available in dark bronze and black steel , this handle completes WAKUU's offering, uniting functionality and design in a single gesture. With this, LEICHT reaffirms its ability to offer solutions that combine innovation, aesthetic coherence, and the highest quality.

Founded in 1928 as a carpentry workshop by Alois and Josef Leicht , the company was acquired in 1975 by the Welle family of Paderborn . With Stefan Waldenmaier at the helm, LEICHT began a strategic reorientation at the beginning of the millennium, focusing on high-quality products distributed through qualified dealers and gaining visibility at international trade fairs and through its own showroom.
In 2014 , LEICHT opened the "LEICHT | WELT" in Waldstetten, a modern showroom that embodies the brand. Here, kitchen and living space concepts are presented in an environment that transcends the traditional exhibition, offering a comprehensive showcase of kitchen projects featuring materials, lighting, and accessories.
In 2019 , LEICHT opened the “Architekturwerkstatt” in Löhne , a premium kitchen showroom in collaboration with LIEBHERR, V-ZUG , and Inalco . With over 2000 m² of exhibition space, it was expanded in 2022 with an additional 1300 m² pavilion , reaching a total of 4000 m² dedicated to showcasing high-end design products.
