Austrian hardware manufacturer Blum has optimized its SERVO-DRIVE electronic opening system, incorporating usability improvements, new features, and improved energy efficiency. Presented at interzum 2025, the system has been updated in all three versions—for pull-out modules, individual applications, and appliances—offering greater convenience and precision for everyday kitchen use.
Improvements to base cabinets and simplified assembly
One of the main novelties is the possibility of adjust the trigger sensitivity directly on the drive, reducing the risk of accidental opening and reinforcing the anti-lean mechanism. This innovation provides greater safety and control in base cabinets and pull-out units.
For manufacturers and installers, the new visual indication with green LED It confirms the correct installation depth, speeding up assembly and ensuring precise placement. With these improvements, SERVO-DRIVE offers greater reliability for both the end user and the professional.
SERVO-DRIVE flex for household appliances
The version intended for integrated refrigerators, freezers and dishwashers Now, you can choose between three opening times (2,5 s, 4 s, and 8 s), adapting to each customer's personal preferences. This expands functionality and ease of use.
In addition, the system integrates a wireless receiver in the drive, eliminating the need for communication cables between devices and reference paths to adjust the opening force. This simplifies installation on high doors and speeds up commissioning.
Improved usability and energy efficiency
Blum has renewed all three SERVO-DRIVE variants with a focus on the ease of use, incorporating QR codes that allow you to download instructions quickly and easily. This improvement makes the experience easier from the first contact with the product.
In parallel, the system significantly reduces the energy consumption in standby mode, falling far short of the values established by European regulations. Available from September, this new version reinforces Blum's commitment to innovation, efficiency, and convenience throughout the kitchen.
