As part of Milan Design Week 2026, Schiffini returned to Milan with the concept "Timeless Evolution," reaffirming its identity through a new exhibition at the Signature Kitchen Suite showroom on Via Manzoni 47. This exhibition combines renewal and memory within the brand's design language, where design evolves without losing its connection to its origins. It's an approach that connects past and present through a contemporary interpretation of domestic space.

BAIA: Design from the origin and observation

BAIA, designed by Marco Costanzi, represents a return to Schiffini's origins , linked to his birth in La Spezia in 1925 and the nautical world. This legacy translates into a proposal that stems from the observation of reality, where elements such as corners—present in both architecture and everyday objects—are reinterpreted as a design resource.

The forms soften, the edges round, and the volumes open outwards, creating a more dynamic composition. This is not merely an aesthetic gesture, but a response to the idea of space in motion , where each element finds its equilibrium within a flexible configuration.

Matter, icons, and continuity in the language of design

The exhibition combines new designs with iconic models like the Cina and Cinqueterre , reinforcing Schiffini's trajectory and its ability to evolve while maintaining a recognizable identity. This coexistence of historical pieces and current projects creates a continuous interpretation of the brand's design.

Marco Costanzi's artistic direction is based on an essential, precise, and perception-centered language, where matter, light, and proportion define the experience of space. The incorporation of surfaces developed using nanotechnology provides resistance and chromatic depth , aligning with a contemporary and sustainable approach to design.

An expanded vision of the home from a contemporary design perspective

Together with BAIA, Schiffini presents a new collection of bedroom wardrobes , expanding its offering to encompass a more complete vision for the home. This evolution allows them to extend their distinctive design language to different rooms, maintaining coherence and continuity in the design.

The installation is integrated into the LG Electronics space, where the Signature Kitchen Suite collections are also on display. The “Feeding the Future” installation completes the experience , exploring the relationship between technology and food sustainability within the context of Milan Design Week.

Schiffini, the historic Italian kitchen brand, has established itself as a benchmark of Made in Italy design , distinguished by its history and pioneering role in the sector. Founded in Liguria as a small naval furniture factory, the company has evolved into a brand that combines culture, innovation, and an identity deeply rooted in its origins. From these roots emerges a design vision that evolves without losing its essence.

Over the years, the brand has broadened its focus through collaborations with international designers. The partnership with Vico Magistretti resulted in iconic models such as Cinqueterre, Solaro, and Cina, which marked a new way of understanding cooking. This openness has allowed Schiffini to develop its own unique language, blending tradition and innovation.

Today, following its acquisition by SCIC in 2023, Schiffini begins a new chapter with a more dynamic and contemporary image. The brand is reinforcing its position in an evolving global market. The kitchen is integrated into a broader domestic system, where design and functionality coexist seamlessly.
