TM Italia presents “Culture of Uniqueness” at Milan Design Week through a dual presence that includes the opening of its new Atelier Milano at Porta Nuova and its participation in Next Place Brera. The company has created an exhibition that combines space, product, and concept, showcasing four interpretations of the kitchen environment alongside the temporary installation of Impexa Limitless Edition and the presentation of its Impexa and Aera systems.
The Atelier as an expression of brand identity
The new Atelier Milano is conceived as the firm's flagship store within its international expansion program, following openings in cities such as New York, Seoul, and Tel Aviv. Located in the Porta Nuova district, the space is situated in one of the city's most dynamic urban environments. The Atelier concept defines a way of understanding design as a bespoke experience.
Spanning over 300 square meters and featuring eight large, double-height windows, the space is conceived as a luminous container that showcases diverse approaches to kitchen design. The exhibition combines permanent and temporary installations, reinforcing the idea of a constantly evolving space. The interior architecture serves as a support for the product narrative.
Four interpretations of the kitchen space
The exhibition is structured around four models that express distinct design languages. Avignon, designed by Nicola Gallizia, features a deconstructed composition with cantilevered modules, custom-made columns, and materials such as stained eucalyptus and Bianco Covelano natural stone. The relationship between materiality and composition defines its character.
In contrast, Modula introduces a more sculptural approach through curved volumes and combinations of glass, steel, and stone, while a more rational approach explores birch plywood structures, lacquered finishes, and stoneware countertops. This formal diversity highlights the brand's compositional freedom. The variety of design languages reflects the breadth of the TM Italia system.
Experience, installation and contemporary vision
The space is completed by the Compasso d'Oro-winning Rua model, integrated into an environment designed to foster interaction through showcooking, events, and training sessions. The kitchen thus becomes an active space within the project. This experiential dimension expands the traditional use of the kitchen.
The proposal extends to the temporary installation of Impexa Limitless Edition and participation in Next Place Brera, where Aera is also being presented. Both systems are conceived as independent, combinable modules, reinforcing a vision of the flexible and open kitchen. Modularity defines the approach to contemporary living.
